22-24 September: Powertrains, Fuels and Lubricants Meeting - Virtual

The 2020 SAE International Powertrains, Fuels & Lubricants Meeting (PF&L) is the convening point for forward-thinking engineers, researchers, OEMs, and academia to collaborate and hear presentations on the most promising new powertrain technologies related to engine design, fuels, lubricants, combustion, and emissions control for the light-, medium-, and heavy-duty segments.


24-26 September: INA PAACE Automechanika Mexico City - POSTPONED to 2021

Due to unprecedented circumstances resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, Messe Frankfurt along with the partners and supporting associations have agreed to postpone INA PAACE Automechanika Mexico City. Latin America’s most important trade event for the automotive service industry will now take place at Centro Citibanamex, July 21 – 23, 2021

04-08 October: ITS World Congress 2020 - CANCELLED

The ITS will launch a dynamic virtual event series for the ITS World Congress community. “ITS World Congress ALL-ACCESS,” a digital event series coming this Fall, will be an immersive experience of education sessions, discussion groups, recommended content, solutions and case-studies, a knowledge and resources center, and other online opportunities to connect the global community of intelligent transportation leaders and influencers. 


11-14 October: SAE Brake Colloquium and Exhibition - Virtual 

Due to concerns around the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, SAE International has made the responsible decision to transition the Brake Colloquium & Exhibition to a virtual event and cancel the in-person event, originally scheduled for October 11-14, 2020, in San Antonio, Texas. Additional information for the virtual event will be made available in the coming weeks.


27-28 October: The Assembly Show - Virtual 

Each year The ASSEMBLY Show brings together thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors showcasing the latest assembly technology equipment and products. During this event participants uncover new resources, evaluate the latest technologies and products, learn from industry experts and connect with experienced professionals.


27-29 October: Automotive Testing Expo - Novi, Michigan, US

Visitors can expect to see the latest in ADAS testing, NVH measurement tools, test rigs, simulation packages, durability testing technologies, crash testing know-how, dynamometers, emission measurement systems and dynamic assessment tools, as well as countless service providers such as proving grounds and test facilities.

The SEMA Show is committed to furthering businesses in the automotive specialty equipment market, and to providing manufacturers and buyers with the best opportunity to connect, promote new products and discover new trends. SEMA is now offering a virtually marketplace called SEMA360, an online marketplace to allow manufacturers and resellers in the automotive segment to connect and conduct business. SEMA360 is taking place Nov. 2-6 November 2020.


AAPEX is a trade-only event for the automotive aftermarket.


03-05 November: Advanced Automotive Battery Conference (AABC)- Virtual

AABC was founded to review the status of automotive battery technology and provide informed glimpses into the future. The AABC program will uncover the underlying technical and business issues that will impact the pace and path of vehicle electrification worldwide. Lithium-ion batteries are the chief candidate for most xEV applications.



10-12 November: The Battery Show and EV Tech Digital Days – Virtual 

The Battery Show and Electric Vehicle Technology Expo is postponing its physical event to September 14-16, 2021. However, the Battery Show and the EV Tech Days are going virtual between 10-12 November, 2020.



11-13 & 16 November: Reuters Automotive Summit - Virtual

Reuters Events Automotive Summit brings together CEOs, Innovators and Disruptors from across the world, as they take to the stage to set the Automotive Industry agenda for years to come.


16-20 November: Used Car Week - Scottsdale, AZ, US

Pre-Owned Con will present dealers the tools they need to get more used metal rolling over the curb. Auto Fin Con with discussions about the latest trends and tools to improve metrics with each passing vintage. Repo Con industry veterans will be on hand for conversations about how what might be considered old-school methods for collections and skip-tracing can be combined with new technology to mitigate risk. The National Remarketing Conference, at its core, thrives on providing a forum of analysis, education and discussion that moves the wholesale auto industry forward.


20-29 November: Los Angeles Auto Show-Los Angeles, CA, US-Postponed to 2021

One of the world's largest auto shows with 1,000 vehicles will return over Thanksgiving week, November 20 - 29, 2020 at the LA Convention Center.  The show is a one-stop-shop for comparison shopping cars, trucks, SUVs, electric vehicles & more without any sales pressure. The event is postponed to 21-31 May 2021.

23-25 September: IAA Autoshow - Munich, Germany

Shining steel, splendor and speed – for over a century now the IAA has guaranteed spectacular premieres and technological trends. But it is much more than a car show: It has developed into a leading forum for all aspects of mobility.
